We concurrently support conservation and community initiatives at the grassroots level in Bardia, contributing to the well-being of both the environment and local communities. Learn more and connect with us to be a part of any of these projects in Bardia.

The Himalayan Nature Conservation Base will act as:

  • An educational and technical base for the School of Conservation Technology to solve the issues of human-wildlife conflict.
  • A communal hub for communities to gather  for discussions, planning, interactions and trainings for local stakeholders.
  • An international exchange hub to facilitate volunteers, scholars, researchers and students during their visit to Bardia.
  • A base to operate and showcase projects for Nepal Conservation.

Be Involved

Support the ongoing initiavties and active conservation efforts down at the ground. Here’s how you can help:

  • New or used electronic devices to giveaway for the Community Based Anti-Poaching Unit (CBAPU) members like laptops, harddrives, torches, pendrives, camera traps, mobile phones, camera gears, GPS devices, projectors, rechargeable batteries for GPS and camera traps, powerbanks, etc
  • Donate to any of the inidividual projects directly. We are actively looking to set up foundation for the Nature Conservation Base in Bardia for our wildlife technicians.
  • Resource sharing, consultation or volunteering in any of the projects.
  • Join our experiential and conservation education trips in Bardia.
